HOW ARE YOU DIFFERENT FROM A REGULAR GYM TRAINER?
My approach is both personalized and science-based, ensuring that your goals are met in a thoughtful and playful manner. I cater to a variety of ages and lifestyles, tailored to your specific needs and preferences. My role as a personal fitness guide is similar to a travel guide, providing information and the "how-to" for you to develop a relationship with exercise & redefine how you and your body move through the world.
DO YOU OFFER IN-HOME PERSONAL TRAINING?
WHAT TYPES OF HOME FITNESS EQUIPMENT DO YOU RECOMMEND?
YES! Absolutely, if your home has the equipment - or you would like to invest in equipment, I am more than happy to come in-home where you are comfortable. However, a travel fee of $20 CAD will be charged.
It depends!

For Recovery tools, I personally recommend a foam roller and lacrosse ball.
For Strength & Mobility tools, I personally recommend a Kettlebell. They are unconventional, convenient to store away, diverse in exercise selection, and FUN!
I HAVEN'T EXERCISED IN YEARS, SHOULD I WAIT TILL I'M FIT BEFORE I GET STARTED WITH STRENGTH TRAINING?
Absolutely not! The best time to get started with strength training is now, there is no right or wrong time to begin. Our sessions will adjust accordingly to the level that you are at right now. Thus, if it's been a while - we will go back to basics as your body familiarizes itself with the movement patterns again. If you're an advanced lifter looking for more guidance, we can jump right into exercises programmed for your specific goals!
